Slapchop in a can

YES WE HAVE A VERSION OF SLAPCHOP, IT'S INSANELY QUICK!

We all know the struggle of getting a full army up to tabletop standard. If only there was a way to get that army looking good without sacrificing all your limited hobby time… Well, you know it, you love it, but we’re here to improve it. The great Slapchop method!

WHAT IS SLAPCHOP?

For those who haven’t seen the technique before, what is Slapchop? Slapchop’s been around for a handful of years now, pioneered and promulgated through the community by many great content creators. It’s where you prime your modules using a black undercoat and then dry brush the edges with a light colour, usually grey or white to create a zenithal effect (the look of natural light on the model to help create depth and remove flat, uninteresting tones on the model). Then add some contrast paint or wash on top before picking out the details, and it’s really as simple as that.
