How Did We Choose The Signature Series Colours?

The simple answer is we didn’t!
We approached a group of the top content creators in the UK, those who make content we enjoy as hobbyists, and we asked them a simple question; to make the spray primer they’ve always wanted. Whatever colour and name they wanted, we’d make it, test and tweak it so it was just what they wanted, and put it into production.
So each of the collaborators in this project chose their own colours. We worked with them to make sure it came out just as they had envisioned, while also meeting the high coverage and consistency standards we expect of all our spray primers.
We loved the colours they came back with, giving us a range of gorgeous colours!
As you can see here, 6 of the 8 are direct colour matches to Citadel Acrylics (their paint pots, NOT their spray primers which can be pretty inconsistent). 1 of those 6 is a resurrected colour (Hellstorm Wargaming really wanted to bring back Ruinous Red with a new name), while 2 are totally unique colours.
We’ll release blogs in later weeks telling you a bit more about each colour, why the creators chose them and what they look like on models.
